Think Tank

The role of the Think Tank is to provide leadership and strategic guidance in constituting and driving a series of research programmes, workshops, and other engagements on the key themes of the Mandela Initiative. The research and action programmes include advocacy and the lending of support to best practice pilots of activities that might have the most impact for the most people possible.

Think Tank members are involved fully in the research and workshop programmes, sometimes as stimulators and convenors and sometimes as regular participants based on their expertise. Biannual Think Tank meetings are opportunities to take stock of progress in line with the timeframes and also to engage, as a Think Tank, around the key themes of the initiative.
